The marketing campaign for the ikeja dynamic Lions Club has been selected as winner of the Lions International Marketing Award for Constitutional Area VIII. Club marketing is a great way to recruit new members, spread the word about service activities and increase visibility in the community. And now, Ikeja Dynamic Lions club got the rare privilege and opportunity to gain recognition for its marketing efforts via the exciting award. It is worthy to note that only one winner is selected in each constitutional area.
Speaking with the club president for 2023/2024, Lion Sanyaolu Opeyemi NLCF on why the club found it necessary to enter for the competition, he reiterated that club had done quite a few marketing exposures for the club and projects and the feeling was they met all the necessary criteria. He then reached out to my Charter President; Lion Deji Olukokun PMJF, NLCF who doubles as the club’s Marketing Consultant on how to achieve this goal. The CP with his always can do spirit jumped on the application and the rest they say is history. This is a great feat not for the club alone but for District 404B2 and Multiple District 404 Nigeria at large.
The Multiple Council Chairperson for 2023/2024 LSY; PDG Ayobola Samuel PMJF NLCF extolled the virtues and praised the hard work of Ikeja Dynamic Lions club for putting the multiple district on a global stage of honor. He commended the club who were referred to as one of the best club in Africa if not the world and encouraged to continue to be a shining light to the country and continent.
Rewards that came with the exercise for winning included US$2,000 cash award, Trophy presented by Lions International, downloadable certificate per club to print for each member and Complimentary Lions Convention registration for two club members and two guests (4 total)
LCI further congratulated the club and admonished members of the club to be proud of the creativity and innovation that went into the marketing campaign
