Lion Tolulope Senbanjo, PMJF, NLCF, the newly elected and youngest District Governor of District 404B2 Nigeria, has unveiled an ambitious yet realistic plan to raise N250 million for the establishment of a world-class food bank in Lagos. This transformative initiative aims to serve at least 100,000 people annually. The announcement was made during a press briefing in Ikeja, Lagos, where Lion Senbanjo shared his vision with great fervor.

Inspired by the mantra ‘Not too young to serve,’ Lion Senbanjo expressed his commitment to making a significant contribution to society. “From the moment I embarked on this journey, I have been driven by the desire to make a profound difference. I believe in the power of our collective efforts to bring this vision to life,” he declared, emphasizing the importance of civic and social responsibilities. He urged Nigerians to understand the profound impact of their contributions on the nation’s future.
Highlighting the core values of the Lions Club, Lion Senbanjo stated, “At the Lions Club, we dedicate our time, treasure, and talents to serve our immediate communities.” He called upon all members and supporters to join in this critical mission, reinforcing his commitment to service. “I have been called to serve, and I am calling you, my fellow lions and listeners, to join me in serving,” he appealed.
The official public presentation of Lion Tolulope Senbanjo PMJF, NLCF is scheduled for Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Jewel Aieda event center in Lekki, Lagos. The event is expected to be a significant occasion, where we hope to raise over 250 Million Naira toward the Foodbank Project.
In attendance at the Press Briefing were 8 out of the past 10 District Governors, showcasing the strong support for this initiative from the District leadership.
Lion Senbanjo PMJ, NLCF underscored the Lions Club’s dedication to making a positive impact on society, noting that members from diverse backgrounds unite with a common goal of serving others with passion, compassion, and humility. Reflecting on the District 404B2’s recent 10th anniversary, Lion Senbanjo PMJF, NLCF expressed his privilege to serve as the 11th District Governor. He is committed to building on the foundation laid by past leaders and raising the bar of service to touch more lives and positively impact the community.
The theme for the service year, ‘Service first, creating a lasting impact,’ encapsulates their commitment to making a meaningful difference through dedicated service. Under Senbanjo’s inspiring leadership, District 404B2 is poised for a year of impactful service, rallying the community to contribute towards a better future for all.
