The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. It is much more important starting the journey rightly seeking divine direction and guidance. Lions of District 404B2 Nigeria in company of friends and well wishers ushered the new Lions service year with prayers as the District Governor; Lion Tolulope Senbanjo led members of District 404B2 to a jumat prayer and thanksgiving service at Lagos State secretariat community mosque and Household of David Church on the 5th and 7th of July respectively.
The activity is one where the members of the district appreciated God for his mercies and kindness as well as used the opportunity to commit the year into God’s hands. The District Governor expressed his appreciation to the leaders of the religious organizations and expressed a profound thanks to God for life and the grace to serve. He also enlightened worshippers at both events of what the Lions do and how we are marking positive marks in the society.
Similarly, Lions in the Ilorin and Osun axis also held Jumat and thanksgiving service as well. The second Vice District Governor; Lion Akere PMJF, NLCF led lions to the osun axis of the event.
Pastor Sola Osunmakinde, the senior pastor of Household of David prayed that the DG and his team will achieve enormous success and that there will be no loss whatsoever this new year. Lion leaders present at the events included PCC Teslim Sanusi, PMJF, NLCF, PDG Kayode Oshinuga, PDG Aare Lekan Owolabi PMJF, NLCF, FVDG Kemi Eribake MJF, NLCF and a host of others.
