The club recently donated white canes to the School of the Visually Impaired at Bethesda Home For The Blind. This initiative aims to enhance the mobility and independence of visually impaired students, empowering them to navigate their surroundings with greater ease and confidence.

White canes are essential tools for visually impaired individuals, providing them with the ability to detect obstacles and navigate their environment safely. These aids significantly improve their mobility, allowing them to move independently and confidently. By donating white canes, Lagos Metropolitan Lions Club seeks to empower visually impaired individuals, fostering their autonomy and integration into society. The club organized various fundraising activities to gather the necessary resources for purchasing white canes.
