Friends, Lions and Leos of Leo District 404B2 Nigeria, are beyond proud of the remarkable success achieved during this year’s Annual Leadership Conference (ALC) 6.0. We witnessed the true essence of teamwork, leadership, and growth as Leos from all corners of our district came together to share an unforgettable experience.
From the very start, the energy was palpable delving deep into what it means to lead with purpose, work collaboratively, and inspire others to greatness. Breakout sessions allowed for engaging conversations and interactive workshops that encouraged participants to step outside their comfort zones and form deeper connections with one another.
Trade fair stands were mounted by various registered vendors to display their products. Health, finance, importation and exportation, Tech and trade were the area the conference lecture was centered on. A remarkable officers training, Leo-lion conversion and skill acquisition session was also touched. The level of collaboration and support witnessed during these activities was nothing short of inspiring. It was a powerful reminder that our success as leaders depends not just on individual brilliance, but on the strength of the team behind us.
ALC 6.0 delivered on its promise to equip Leos with the tools needed to lead effectively. The growth witnessed throughout ALC was incredible, and there is a high confidence that each and every Leo who participated will carry the valuable lessons learnt back to their clubs, ready to make an even greater impact in their communities.
Joining the Leos to encourage Leos at the conference were the District Governor, 2nd Vice District Governor, Leo Programme Chairman amidst other great lions. Speaking at the event, the District Leo Kayode Ayodele 100%P, LAH, NLEF used the opportunity to extend his heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in ALC 6.0. from the planning committee to the facilitators, and of course, every single Leo who attended. In his words, ‘Thank you for your dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn and grow together. Your commitment to making this event a success has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I deeply appreciate all the hard work and energy you put into it”.
ALC 6.0 was more than just an event; it was a transformative experience. It reinforced the power of unity, leadership, and the boundless potential of our movement.
Similarly the 11th District President Presentation of Leo District 404B2 Nigeria was held on Sunday, 15th of September, 2024, at Beehive hall, Ikeja, Lagos state after a three day programme called Annual Leadership Conference (A.L.C 6.0). The event started with the red carpet session at exactly 1pm while it was called to order by the Immediate Past District President at exactly 3pm.
The event was graced by dignitaries both from the Lion family and non Lion family. The topic for the lecture was: “Coping with Financial stress- Mental health strategies for Economic uncertainty. It was delivered by Dr. Adeniji Adebayo, Assistant Coordinator for Immunization Programme, Lagos state Primary Health Care Board. The induction of the District president was done by the Multiple District President, Leo Faniyi Omolara Olufunke, 100%P, LAH, NLEF while the presentation was done by the District Governor, Lion Tolulope Ayodeji Sebanjo, PMJF, NLCF.
Some awards of honour were given to appreciate some notable Lions and guest for their efforts and sacrifices over the years. Some Leos were identified to transit to Leo-Lion as a necessary step to take at age 30. The presentation of the District Cabinet Officer and District Coordinators was done by the District President. Fund was raised for the district legacy project while there are some pending pledges yet to be fulfilled.
The celebration cake was cut and the dancing floor was opened for the guest to relax and enjoy the occasion till 9pm when the curtain was drawn.
