Ilorin Royal Lions Club carried out a community empowerment project with the goal to equip the younger generation by imparting essential skills and knowledge that will not only boost their personal growth but also contribute to the economic development.
At the vocational workshop held at Lumex International College in Ilorin, students eagerly participated in the different training sessions. Lion Ogunleye Amiomode’s detailed guidance on the theoretical and practical aspects of soap making, emphasizing safety measures, was met with enthusiasm. Similarly, Lion Oladapo Busari’s insightful session on woodwork as a vocational skill was well-received by the participants.
The active involvement of the students resulted in a meaningful and engaging workshop, and the club was pleased to award certificates of attendance to 50 deserving students.
