Debating among secondary school students is a common educational activity that helps develop critical thinking, public speaking, and argumentation skills.
Lions District 404B2 Nigeria in conjunction with Oluseun Onigbinde foundation held a special debate competition on the 12th of October, 2024 in Ogbomosho city, featuring seven participating schools. The winner was presented with 100,000 Naira, the runner-up received 75,000 Naira, and the remaining participants were gifted various prizes. This competition strives to enhance students’ public speaking abilities and promote effortless learning.
