Ikeja Viva L’Amour’s Lions Club recently held a massive Hunger Relief Program – tagged Feed the Hungry Project. The Hunger Relief Program (Feed the Hungry Project), a flagship initiative of Lions International, remains a core annual project of Ikeja Viva L’Amour Lions Club. This year, the program held on the 16th of January 2025 at the Ojodu Local Government Secretariat and focused on addressing the pressing issue of hunger in the community.
Guided by the Lions International motto, “Where there is a need, there is a Lion”, and the club’s creed, “In Viva L’Amour, We Serve With Love and Passion”, the event provided immediate and impactful support to citizens experiencing hardship.
The project was a resounding success, catering to the needs of approximately 200 families within the community. Members of the Ikeja Viva L’Amour Lions Club were actively involved in organizing and distributing food items, demonstrating their commitment to serving with love and passion.
The active participation and support of all Viva L’Amour members significantly contributed to the program’s success, further solidifying the club’s role in making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.
