CELEBRATING A SUCCESSFUL INITIATIVE
Ikeja Unique Lions Club in a remarkable fashion carried out of successful Eye Screening, Cataract Surgery, and Eyeglass Provision initiative, held on March 22, 2025, at the Ancilla Catholic Hospital Eye Center. This life-changing event, in partnership with the Ancilla Catholic Hospitals Foundation, has brought renewed hope and clearer vision to many in need.
The Impact at a Glance:
- 300 individuals received free eye screenings, including Lions.
- 50 eyeglasses were distributed to those with vision impairments.
- 3 cataract surgeries were fully sponsored for individuals requiring urgent intervention.
The club’s dedication to service doesn’t end here, the club is determined to continue supporting the cataract surgery beneficiaries with follow-up care, ensuring a smooth recovery and lasting impact.
