MISSION 1.5 AWARENESS WALK – A STEP TOWARDS GROWTH AND IMPACT

In a powerful show of unity and purpose, Lions Clubs from Zones 4A, 5B, 6C, 7A, and 7B came together to organize the Mission 1.5 Awareness Walk, a vibrant and purposeful event aimed at promoting the core values of Lionism and encouraging growth in membership. The activity which took place on the 5th of April, 2025 at the popular Toyin Street in Ikeja Lagos State came to life as a result of the previous lampposts marketing campaign facilitated by Zone 6C in the same area.
The walk was more than a physical journey, it was a movement of hearts and hands committed to service. Mission 1.5 is a global Lions initiative designed to increase membership by 1.5 million, and this walk served as a dynamic way to raise awareness, attract new members, and energize existing Lions across the districts. From engaging the community to spreading the message of service, leadership, and fellowship, the walk underscored the importance of visibility and collaboration. It also reaffirmed our shared mission: to serve with compassion and grow in strength.
