Lion Alhaji Abdulganiyu Abiodun Adediji (a.k.a Triple A) was born in the ancient town, Ede, Osun state.
He was once a Teacher and trained Banker with Associate Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB London) from Broadwater College of Banking – London. He had his banking experience with Wema Bank Plc.
He ran his own businesses with PrideMark Services – a Drycleaning / Laundry service and general cleaning and pest control services Provider. He also sat on the Board of Cosmic Insurance Brokers Limited as a Non Executive Director.
Lion Adediji joined Lion services in 1986 through the now defunct Opebi Oregun Lions Club and was sponsored from the office of Lion Harry Knoop. In 1989; he transferred to Ilupeju Lions Club where he rose through the ranks to become its President in 1996 / 1997 Lions service year. During his year as President, he led the construction and donation of a multipurpose Hall to Neuro – Psychiatric Hospital Annex in Oshodi.
In 1996/1997 Lions Services year, he was awarded both the President and Lion of the year Awards.
At the District levels, he held successfully offices of the Zone, Region, Chairpersons and headed many committees.
Lion Adediji holds the distinguished record of being the only Lion in the Multiple District 404 to have held the position of the District Cabinet Secretary (DCS EMERITUS) back to back between 2001 / 2002 and 2002 / 2003 service years and was credited with the acquisition of the District Secretarial presently in use at Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos.
He was elected the 2nd Vice District Governor of Lions Clubs International District 404B in Osogbo, State of Osun National Convention in 2013 and was consequently endorsed as the Pioneer District Governor of District 404B-2 Nigeria at the Special Delegate meeting of District 404B in September, 2013. He served as Pioneer District Governor of Lions District 404B2 Nigeria in 2014-2015 Lions Service Year. He also had the privilege to serve as Multiple Council Chairperson
Lion Adediji was a recipient of many District and International awards among which were LION PRIDE AWARD PIN, 2 GOLD PAWS and 2014 / 2015 INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT AWARD etc. He attended several International Conventions, ISAAME and All African Fora.
Late Lion Adediji before his demise also was a member of Island Club, Ikoyi club, Trustee Fellows club of Nigeria and a Merit Award Recipient of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Council.
He was married with children and grand-children.
