Lion Dr Christine Funke Adebajo

PDG Dr Christine Funke Adebajo PMJF, NLCF, JP, is a Consultant of Public Health, She holds a PhD in Public Health. (Oregon State University, USA). She also holds the following degrees; Masters Degree (MA) in Health Facility Planning (University of North London, UK), BSc in Hospital Administration (University of South Bank, UK) and various other Degrees and Diplomas.

She retired from the public service after meritorious inputs as Hospital Administrator in a couple of teaching hospitals in the UK and finally as the Deputy General Secretary of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives and also after serving as the National President of the Federation of Female Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria.

Dr Adebajo served as the District Governor, D404B2 in 2015/2016. During her year, she accomplished the following among others: built a Youth Empowerment Water Plant at OZANAM House in Lagos, Chartered 10 clubs, executed many projects including Sinking of Boreholes; Renovation of Schools; Tree planting; Eye Screening and distribution of Eye Glasses.

PDG Dr Adebajo is currently the Chairman of the Elders Forum, D404B2. She was appointed to the position in the 2023/2024 Lions Service year. The Elders Forum provides Leadership advisory services to the District Cabinet.

She is a Fellow of Advance Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) ,  FDI (2015).
