PDG Dr Christine Funke Adebajo PMJF, NLCF, JP, is a Consultant of Public Health, She holds a PhD in Public Health. (Oregon State University, USA). She also holds the following degrees; Masters Degree (MA) in Health Facility Planning (University of North London, UK), BSc in Hospital Administration (University of South Bank, UK) and various other Degrees and Diplomas.
She retired from the public service after meritorious inputs as Hospital Administrator in a couple of teaching hospitals in the UK and finally as the Deputy General Secretary of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives and also after serving as the National President of the Federation of Female Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria.
She is currently the CEO of De-Bajo Specialist Hospital in Lagos, Nigeria. She is also the Chairman of Health Services Consultancy (HSC) Nig. Ltd. PDG Adebajo was a Consultant to the World Health Organization and UNFPA (1984 – 2014). She was also the Regional Focal Person on Violence Prevention and Reproductive Health. (WHO)
Some of the Awards of Honor received includes; Africa Role Model Gold Award for Excellence (2006), International Professional of the Year (2005) UK, Great Women of the 21st Century (2004) USA, Nigeria Women Achievers Group of 500 (2000),Nigeria among others.
PDG Christine is an author of eight books. As a lion, PDG Adebajo has 35 years of unbroken service. She was the Best President of the Year 2008/2009, Best Region Chairperson of the year 2010/2011 among other numerous recognition she has received over the years. Dr Adebajo has chaired many District and Multiple District Committees and has received several International President Awards.
Dr Adebajo served as the District Governor, D404B2 in 2015/2016. During her year, she accomplished the following among others: built a Youth Empowerment Water Plant at OZANAM House in Lagos, Chartered 10 clubs, executed many projects including Sinking of Boreholes; Renovation of Schools; Tree planting; Eye Screening and distribution of Eye Glasses.
She is a Fellow of Advance Lions Leadership Institute (ALLI) , FDI (2015). PDG Dr Adebajo is currently the Chairman of the Elders Forum, D404B2.
She is a devout Catholic and currently serve as the 2nd Vice Chairman of the Parish Pastoral Council of St. Agnes Catholic Church of Maryland, Lagos. She is married with very successful children.
